Perfect basic PDF pattern of a shirt & dress for children from 2 to 16 years old to make a shirt and dress with additional options, such as: a flounce on the front panel and ruffles at the bottom of the skirt part.
The basic shirt is a raglan shirt with long sleeves and a round neckline; make it from the same fabric as the shirt or use the extra added pattern part for a neckline of border fabric. As an additional option, you can sew in a flounce at the front sleeve insert for a playful effect.
From the neckline to the waist, the basic dress is the same as the shirt. So raglan sleeves, a round neckline of the same fabric as the dress or of board fabric and the additional option; the flounce. From the waist, a skirt section is gathered. At the bottom of the skirt section is an additional option to add a ruffle. Turn long sleeves into three-quarter or short sleeves and you can sew endless dresses and shirts with these perfect basic patterns.
How does it work?
You buy a pdf pattern that you print out at home in A4 or A0 size. The included sewing instructions will help you from start to finish. It is a detailed description of each step in making the patterns. It contains clear photos, explanatory text and tips that will give your projects a professional look.
If some sewing techniques are new to you, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your sewing skills. Think of these patterns as your sewing lessons.

This pattern can only be made from a fabric with stretch. The fabric used for the example is a cotton jersey. Suitable fabrics also include; gabardine, stretch viscose & jersey….This pattern was tested, prior to sale, by 20 testers. This allowed me to maximize the pattern.Extra info
